Threatened - and implemented: After the unveiling of "Israel Today" regarding the initiative of MK Mickey Zohar to boycott the immunity debates in the Knesset, today the move was approved by members of the right-wing bloc. Israel Today was informed that a telephone round was held among the members of the bloc, in which the MKs approved the confiscation of hearings.
As first announced here, Knesset Member and Likud Speaker Mickey Zohar has submitted a proposal to boycott immunity hearings by the right-wing coalition. His proposal was submitted after Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein decided to convene the plenum to discuss Netanyahu's request for immunity.

In a tweet posted on Twitter on Sunday, MK Zohar wrote: "The coalition will not participate in plenary hearings for the establishment of the Knesset committee. The opposition is disgracefully and domineering through the majority of cases obtained by blue and white. Their behavior is contrary to all the rules since the Knesset was established, and this is not our way. We will not take part in this and will not cooperate in their "Just not Bibi" election campaign.
A white-paintbrush said in response to the move: "It is a shame that the prime minister continues to despise the Knesset and the democratic regime and refuses his people to participate in the hearing on the request for immunity, immunity he initiated and sought to escape the law.
Joint Listing Chairman MK Ayman Odeh commented: "Netanyahu will not come to remove the immunity but the immunity will come to him. We will make sure the corrupt is prosecuted for his crimes. "

MK Tamar Zandberg of Labor-Gesher-Meretz also commented on the move: "The coalition's decision to boycott immunity hearings is an admission of guilt that Netanyahu is putting the Knesset in Israel in a despicable procedure. It would do well if he saved it from all of us and simply removed his request for immunity. "
Zohar told "Israel Today" last week that he spoke to members of the right-wing bloc and obtained their approval, partly because of the right-wing party. The aim of the move is to present the vote as one-sided, in which only the opposition parties, the Arab MKs - and July Edelstein will participate.
