The quantities of pet cotton received by Al-Hasakeh from the governorates of “Al-Hasaka, Al-Raqqa and Deir Al-Zour” since the start of the season and its date to date have reached 61 thousand tons.
Engineer Al-Hasakeh manager, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Aisha, in a statement to SANA reporter, called the farmers and producers from the three governorates who did not market their production to date to accelerate the marketing before the end of this month and review the gin to provide them with the required documents during shipping operations to the gins of the General Cotton Corporation in the governorates of Homs and Hama.
Eng. Al-Aisha pointed out that the marketed quantity of cotton has reached 61 thousand tons to date, in light of the decrease in the quantities imported to the gin, up to 400 tons per day, pointing to the possibility of extending the marketing period for additional days if the cotton supply continues after the end of the current month.
It is noteworthy that during the current season, Al-Hasakah grocery marketed the cotton of Al-Hasakah governorate and opened the way for farmers in the provinces of Al-Raqqa and Deir Al-Zor to market their cotton through the Al-Hasakah grove to facilitate and mitigate them.
