The Palestinian Foreign Ministry affirmed that the "Deal of the Century" is a blatant violation of international laws and international legitimacy resolutions, stressing that the Palestinian people are determined to thwart all American and Israeli attempts to impose them.
The State Department said in a statement today quoted by Wafa News Agency that the assertion of US President Donald Trump that he would announce the deal before next Tuesday indicates the absolute American support for the occupation and encourage it to persist in its violations against the Palestinians with the aim of displacing them and seizing their lands.
The State Department indicated that the "Deal of the Century" is an American-Israeli plan to liquidate Palestinian national rights, including the right of refugees to return, to consecrate the annexation and Judaization of Jerusalem and undermine the opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state.
The Foreign Ministry called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and put an end to the decades-old Palestinian suffering by ending the Israeli occupation and ensuring that its officials are held accountable for their crimes against the Palestinians.
