The Palestinians are in denial: In anticipation of the announcement of the Centennial Plan by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, chairman of the Palestinian Authority negotiating team, threatens to exit the Oslo Accord if the plan is announced.

Erekat told AFP that: "The Palestine Liberation Organization reserves the right to withdraw from the interim agreement with Israel, should Trump present his plans."

"Trump's plan will make Israel's temporary occupation of Palestine a permanent occupation," Erekat told the News Agency.

Meanwhile, CNN News reported that Palestinian officials told her that Palestinian Authority President turned down a phone call from US President Donald Trump, who tried to contact him after two years of disconnection between the White House and the Palestinian Authority.

The Palestinians severed ties with the Trump administration in 2017 after a series of friction with the Trump team and President and the transfer of the United States Embassy to Jerusalem.
