Protests renewed today in a number of Lebanese regions to demand the fight against corruption and the handling of living issues.
The southern regions of Nabatiyeh and Kafrerman witnessed demonstrations rejecting the formation of the new government and demanding to address the deteriorating economic situation and the fuel and electricity crisis.
According to the Lebanese National Media Agency, a demonstration roamed the streets of the city of Tripoli, in which the participants raised Lebanese flags and banners denouncing corruption.
The city of Sidon also witnessed a gathering of protesters near the power station, where the participants went to the sit-in at the Elia junction in the city square, chanting the same slogans and demands.
A number of Lebanese people in Hermel, the Bekaa, organized a protest in front of the government Hermel Brigades, confirming the continuation of the move until the demands are met.
Since October 17, Lebanon has witnessed sit-ins and demonstrations calling for an improvement in the living conditions and accountability for the corrupt.
