160 criminal history nurses were found in the criminal record examinations conducted by the Division of Day Care and Nurseries at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Some are violent offenses in minors, drug use and prostitution.
As part of the Supervision Law, the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare set up a database containing the names and details of caregivers who should not be allowed to work and be in contact with toddlers, as well as men and women who were prohibited from managing day care. Over the past few months, some 9,000 criminal records of all the staff involved in the residence, including caregivers and dormitories, have been examined. The study found that 160 caregivers were found to have a criminal history of serious offenses, because of their severity they do not deserve to work with toddlers.

Among the caregivers, 47 caregivers could be listed with crimes of violence against a helpless minor, 72 with a record of violent offenses, and 49 with a record of theft offenses. In some cases serious caregivers are attributed such as prostitution, drugs and neglect. Now that the framing is beginning, one can only shudder at the thought that the caregivers would have come to work with the toddlers.
This is a confidential database, where the details of people they are forbidden to work with toddlers.
The criminal record database, which belongs to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, is registered in the law and is not visible to the general public. The procedure is carried out in such a way that the owner of the day-care center passes on the name of the employee to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, and the office is the one who does the examination with the police and finally makes a decision regarding the employment of the caregiver or the caregiver.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Services again warns that day care centers that do not comply with the regulations and the examination required for criminal registration will be exposed to prosecution and the residence will be closed immediately.
List of regulated dormitories
As mentioned, the reservoir was established following the Daycare Supervision Law, which states that in order to receive an operating permit, daycare providers of seven children and more are required to meet three cumulative conditions.
The first condition is the lack of criminal record for anyone who comes into contact with the toddlers. The second, the staff training on first aid to toddlers and the third, a proper and proper structure of the day care center (see more about the supervision law on the right). The list of dormitories that received permission to operate appears on the website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare and Social Services.
"We are arranging a field that has been out of the field for 70 years. Naturally, the application is complex and sensitive, but we continue with all the best when the best interest of the toddlers - and only this - is before our eyes," says Amir Medina, head of the daycare and nursing department at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
He said, "We called on the dorm operators - let's get training at the expense of the state, let's sign up, and we haven't yet received a full response from everyone. We will make clear that we will not hesitate to use all the tools the legislature has at our disposal to make sure the dormitory teams in all the frameworks comply with the law."

He added: "We have recently seen a growing trend for parents, who are more involved in activities and inquiries about frameworks and compliance with the law. We welcome this trend and see parents as a vital force in this process.
"Blessed parental involvement"
Parents can go to our site, check the status of the residence of their children, and even report to us the dormitories who choose to ignore the law, and in extreme cases also the dormitories that require the intervention of law enforcement and law enforcement agencies. "
Recall that the wave of protests from parents and educators has arisen in the past year after a series of child abuse cases by various caregivers. The protest culminated after the release of abuse videos from Carmel Mauda's residence and video of the killing of toddler Jasmine Vinta, who was crushed to death by her therapist.
The close registration of the various daycare and nursery frameworks was done by many parents with grave concerns. Parent's demands: stricter punishment in the field, resulting in prolonged deterrence and imprisonment for those convicted of toddler abuse, and amending the wiretapping law - so that they can operate preschool or daytime recording devices without being exposed to lawsuits.
