The Palestinian National Council renewed its rejection of any plans, deals or attempts to violate the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people that were stipulated in the relevant international legitimacy resolutions and guaranteed by the principles and provisions of international law.
In a statement today carried by the Wafa Agency, the Council called on the international community to take practical steps to confront the "deal of the century" and any scheme that violates Palestinian rights to self-determination and the right of refugees to return to their homes and establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital in accordance with the relevant international legitimacy resolutions.
The Council called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations to assume the responsibilities stipulated in the Charter in defending international resolutions and taking legal measures to hold accountable all those who violate these decisions.
