Police said that about 100 demonstrators gathered at the scene and blocked the road. During the dispersal operation, a total of 6 men and 2 women (aged 14 to 46) were arrested for "assaulting the police", "refusing arrest" and "behaving in public places". "Misconduct", "Possession of offensive weapons" and "Illegal assembly".

After the Mong Kok Police District Criminal Investigation Team took over and followed up, one of the 27-year-old arrested men was charged with one count of "attacking the police" and two counts of "attacking the police" and one count of "refusing arrest"; another A 16-year-old boy was charged with one count of possession of offensive weapons.
