Occupied Jerusalem-Sana
The Palestinian Prisoners Studies Center reported that this month, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 120 Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem.
The Center pointed out in a statement today carried by the Ma'an Agency that among the detainees are 21 children and 7 women, the majority of whom were arrested from Al-Aqsa Mosque, national leaders and journalists.
The Center pointed out that during this month, the occupation authorities removed 60 Jerusalemites from the Al-Aqsa Mosque, including the preacher of the mosque, Ikrima Sabri, who was expelled for four months.
The Center stressed that the goal behind the escalation of the abuse and detention operations against the Palestinians in the occupied Jerusalem is to break their steadfastness and push them to emigrate to seize their homes and lands and to Judaize them, calling on the international community to provide international protection to the Palestinian people and stop the Judaic occupation plans.
