Father Elias Zahlawi talked about the essence of the message of Bishop Kabouji, who was a resistance and defender of Jerusalem whose name was associated with his name and the people’s knowledge of the values ​​of Christ, which focuses on being a person loving and defending his life, the lives of his relatives, his dignity, his stature, history and existence.

Member of the People's Assembly Nabil Saleh explained in a speech to him that Syria has been carrying the Palestine issue since the days of the resistance Izz al-Din al-Qassam, pointing out that the arrest of the Israeli occupation authorities, Bishop Kebugi, was one of the stations of the “bright” Palestinian case through his arguments against his executioners calling for the perpetuation of the bishop’s name. The late one of the great resistance fighters.

As for the writer Sarkis Abu Zaid, he called for the establishment of an Arab national body to honor Bishop Kabouji, stressing that we draw lessons and lessons from the experience of this resistor, who turned into a revolutionary and established a resistance cell in occupied Palestine, and was a link between the interior and the outside, and he never stood on the fence as long as the Palestinian people conquered.

In a speech, Palestinian militant Leila Khaled referred to Syria's role in confronting Zionists, takfiri, and reactionary terrorists, considering that Bishop Kebugi is a great stature not only known in Palestine but in all of the world and has become a national and global hero.

At the end of the ceremony, the new Delmon House honored the participants.
