The Directorate of Health Affairs in the governorate of Damascus organized 481 arrests against owners of stores in violation of health conditions, and closed five of them.
The director of health affairs in the governorate, Dr. Shadi Khallouf, told a SANA representative that 15 warnings were sent to shop owners who need to complete health deficiencies and address 5 complaints, stressing that the directorate is handling any complaints received from citizens.
Khallouf indicated that health monitoring patrols intensify their presence in the markets to control stores that violate health conditions and take legal measures against violators, stressing that the directorate is making all its efforts to secure a healthy and healthy foodstuff for the citizen and is taking samples of foodstuffs to conduct the necessary analyzes and ensure that they conform to the required specifications.
