The meeting of Lebanese parties, forces, and national figures condemned the continuation of blatant American interference in Lebanon's internal affairs and the incitement of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo against the new government.
A statement issued by the meeting during its regular meeting said, "These interventions are in harmony with the acts of violence and sabotage carried out by some organized groups linked to the American embassy and demanding the overthrow of the government and not giving it any opportunity to get the country out of the deepening economic, financial and social crisis in the country."
The meeting called on the national powers and independent groups in the peaceful movement to reject American interventions, condemn acts of violence and sabotage, and thwart their goals that are in the implementation of the "American coup" agenda to change the political equation in Lebanon, stressing the need to give the new government an opportunity to stop the economic collapse and the financial, social and living deterioration and meet people's demands the basic.
