The Hama Electricity Company is working to rehabilitate and maintain the electrical network in the governorate, especially in the areas that were affected by terrorism, and to deliver electricity to the people returning to their homes, villages, and towns, to which the Syrian Arab Army restored security and stability.

Engineer Mohamed Al-Raidi, Director General of SANA Correspondence, stated that the technical workshops at the company completed the work of installing 72 electrical transformers of different capacities in the northern governorate countryside, in addition to extending 200 km of low tension networks and 40 km of medium tension with a capacity of 20 kV, in addition to rehabilitating the electrical system in The rural areas of the southern governorate in Aqrab and Harbnafsah and the villages and towns in its area, as 6 electrical transformers were installed with different capacities and extending 1200 meters of medium tension lines and 2 km of low tension lines.

Al-Raidi said that in the rural areas of the eastern governorate, 73 electrical transformers were installed and 34 km of low tension networks and 30 km of medium tension networks were installed and in the peaceful countryside. The company installed 35 new electrical transformers, 116 km of medium tension lines and 45 km of low tension networks.

Eng. Al-Reidi indicated to the most important projects mentioned in the company's plan, including the completion of the 20 kV branch, the delivery of electrical current to the town of Mork liberated from terrorism, the construction of the 20 KV line from the town of Mork to the city of Khan Sheikhoun liberated, and the implementation of the branch of the 20 K line from the village of Zaghba To Sinjar town in Idlib countryside, and preparing the necessary study for the establishment of a 66/20 / kV substation in Al-Assi Square

The city of Hama and the preparation of the topographic study for the construction of a conversion station 230/66/20 / kV in Ba'rin village.

With regard to the alternative energy project, Al-Raidi said that a solar energy project was invested in the industrial zone with a capacity of 1 megawatts and a solar energy project was invested in the Himyari region. There are also 3 solar energy projects under construction with a total capacity of 2.1 megawatts.
