The 5-year-old boy who was seriously injured yesterday after falling for five meters from the window of his house in Collecchio, in the province of Parma, died this afternoon around 14. The baby's heart stopped beating in the resuscitation department of the Maggiore hospital where he had been hospitalized in desperate conditions. The boy's parents gave the go ahead for organ harvesting. The boy had suffered a serious head injury from falling through his home window.
The little boy, born in Italy but of an Ethiopian family, was at home with his parents and two siblings when, suddenly, he would have climbed into a chair and would have leaned out the window plummeting from a height of five meters in the backyard.
