The epidemic of new coronaviruses related to Wuhan pneumonia has continued to spread, with nearly 4,400 confirmed cases in the Mainland, 106 deaths and 8 confirmed cases in Hong Kong. Chief Executive Lin Zheng Yue'e announced a number of anti-epidemic measures this afternoon (28th), including the suspension of high-speed rail at West Kowloon Station, Hung Hom Intercity Through Train, and passenger clearance at Sha Tau Kok and Man Kam To Control Points starting Thursday (30). In addition, the Government will suspend free travel endorsements in 49 cities in the Mainland to reduce the number of mainland tourists coming to Hong Kong. Lin Zhengyue described the measures as a partial closure.
