Wild boars that invade the Carmel Forest Range and roam freely in the residential neighborhoods near Haifa are a well-known and well-known phenomenon for the Carmel area residents in recent years. As part of a range of measures taken by the municipality to deal with the wild boars, Haifa Municipality today issued warning signs throughout the Carmel Range.
Many Haifa residents say that the pigs roaming freely between the courtyards are no longer a favorite nuisance or "environmental attraction," so the locations where the signs were placed were selected for areas where wild boars moved and where residents reported the presence of pigs to the municipality.

The new signs have been designed in the style of signs posted across various countries of the world, such as Australia, the United States and Thailand, which warn against the presence of animals in the vicinity. As mentioned, some residents talk about the real danger of life, especially the pets that attack the wild boars, and, more importantly, they pose a real danger to people who encounter them in parks and public parks, and even in private homes and gardens.

In the meantime, the Haifa Municipality is calling on the public to offer additional locations on its Facebook page to place signs around the city. Last December, Israel Today learned that a number of residents in the Carmel area began to organize to file a tort claim against the Haifa municipality.
