Lebanese Presidential Adviser for Political Affairs, former Lebanese MP Amal Abu Zaid, warned of the dangers and repercussions of the ominous "Deal of the Century" announced by US President Donald Trump today on Lebanon and the region.
Abu Zaid said in a statement today: We are in Lebanon, as we previously rejected the "Deal of the Century". We renew our rejection of any international game and any conspiracy at the expense of Lebanon and its supreme interest, whatever the cost.
Abu Zaid said that Lebanon reserves its legitimate right to defend its sovereignty and adhere to what was stated in the introduction to the Lebanese constitution, which explicitly stated that there is no resettlement, fragmentation, or division, so the Lebanese will not accept that their country is the weakest link to pass suspicious plans in the time of Arab inaction.
