Ankara-Sana
The authorities of the Turkish regime issued arrest warrants for 21 people under the pretext of their links to the organization of the Turkish preacher Fathallah Gulen, whom the regime accuses of being behind the attempted coup in July 2016.
The Anatolian Agency, speaking on the order, quoted the Public Prosecution Office in Ankara as saying that arrest warrants had been issued against 21 people for using the Bayluk messaging application used by the Gülen organization in addition to carrying out several tasks in the aforementioned organization.
He pointed out that the anti-terrorist police arrested ten people, while the search is still ongoing for the rest.
During the three years following the coup attempt, the authorities of the Turkish regime imprisoned more than 77,000 people and took decisions to dismiss or suspend work against some 150,000 workers in the government, the army, the judiciary, education, and other institutions.
