Members of the General Union of Arab Writers and Writers affirmed that they stood with Syria in its right to preserve its independence, territorial integrity, territorial integrity, and unity of the people and its war against terrorism.
The president of the Jordanian Writers Association Saad Eddin Shaheen said at the annual meeting of the union that the participants endorsed the report of the Deputy Secretary-General, poet Youssef Shakra, who is tasked with visiting the Arab Writers Union in Syria, and adopted it an official document, registering an official invitation to the Syrian delegation to attend the next meeting.
Shaheen pointed out that the Union renewed its position in support of the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital as the first Arab issue and reject all forms of normalization with the Israeli enemy and condemn all forms of circumvention of the rights of the Palestinians.
The members of the General Union Council also expressed their support for the Libyan, Yemeni, and Iraqi people, and rejected all forms of interference in their internal affairs.
