Right-wing bloc will boycott the plenary session today • MK Zohar: "Dorsal Opposition Conduct" • Nissenkorn: "Netanyahu requested immunity and brought it on himself"

Hours before the centennial plan - The Knesset plenum is scheduled for a special meeting today to approve the establishment of a Knesset committee to discuss the immunity requests of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and MK Haim Katz.

It is estimated that the meeting will be short, as representatives of all coalition factions have decided to boycott the debate, as revealed in "Israel Today". Accordingly, the Chairman of the Regulatory Committee, MK Avi Nissenkorn, will approve the plenum to approve the establishment of the committee and his request will be unanimously approved by representatives of all opposition factions.

Coalition Chairman MK Mickey Zohar (Likud) initiated the boycott of the meeting on the grounds that "the opposition is being disgracefully and abusive through a majority of cases obtained by blue and white." Zohar claims that "their behavior is contrary to all rules. We will not take part in this and will not cooperate in their 'Just not Bibi' election campaign. "

It is important to note that even if all the coalition representatives came to the debate, they did not stand a chance of preventing the establishment of the Knesset committee because it supported the establishment of 65 MKs representatives of all opposition factions.

The coalition's tendency is also to boycott the Knesset committee's first session the next day, which should discuss Netanyahu's and MK Haim Katz's requests for immunity that would prevent them from being prosecuted as long as they are MKs. The meeting was invited to the government by Avichai Mandelblit and Prime Minister Netanyahu's attorneys. Although, at this stage, a decision has not yet been made.

One of the indications is that so far Zohar has not communicated to the Knesset committee manager the names of eight Likud representatives on the committee, which are scheduled to participate in the discussions. Zohar said that "I believe that the coalition's representatives will not take part in this farce. The political circus that is taking place in the Knesset should not be shared by us. It is important to show the public how the Left is conducting itself alone in the Knesset, only to realize its abominable hatred of Netanyahu." On the other hand, representatives of all the other factions in the coalition (Shas, Torah Judaism and the right) also announced who the MKs represented in the discussions.

In response, they said in blue and white that "it is a pity that the prime minister continues to despise the Knesset. Netanyahu has asked for a hearing on his immunity - Netanyahu will accept." Chairman of the Knesset MK MK Avi Nissenkorn, who is expected to chair the Knesset, told Israel Today that "as soon as the Knesset committee is established, the request for the immunity of Haim Katz and Benjamin Netanyahu will be discussed, as Netanyahu himself requested."

Meanwhile, Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein has decided not to vote on the establishment of the Immunity Committee today. He will also not run the part of the Knesset plenum to discuss the Immunity Committee, but will be present at the beginning of the plenary when the government announces the appointment of ministers.

Edelstein told officials in the Knesset with him that, as he warned from the beginning, all discussions on immunity at this time would become banned election propaganda. "I was acting state-wise, but that doesn't mean I also have to be part of the opposition's disproportionate propaganda at the expense of the Knesset," the Speaker of the Knesset said.
