At 12:00 noon yesterday (28th), a bomb circulated on the Shenzhen Bay Control Point with pictures. According to online pictures, police officers enclosed the toilet area at the port. "Hong Kong 01" reporters arrived at the scene and found out that officers from the Police's Explosive Ordnance Disposal Division (EOD) were also present at the scene. It is reported that the location of the bomb was found in a trash bin opposite the Shenzhen Bay Control Station building. At the same time, a channel on social media Telegram had predicted at 10 am yesterday that a bomb would be dropped at a "non-railway-connected port", saying that "the grain (bomb) would not hurt innocent people" and that the Hong Kong government would not block Off, "I'll seal it for you."

The police responded to "Hong Kong 01" that the police investigated a case of "suspected items found" at the Shenzhen Bay Port in Tin Shui Wai at about 10 am on January 28. According to reports, a security guard at the port heard a loud noise when the incident occurred, and then went forward to check and found a suspected explosive device in a trash can.

Police officers from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau arrived at the scene and seized a device remotely controlled by a radiotelephone, which contained suspected explosives. Personnel removed the device at the site for further inspection. No one was injured in the incident and no evacuation was necessary. The case is being followed up by the Organised Crime and Triad Bureau.

In addition, the police provided relevant pictures of the bomb to the media. It can be seen that the explosive device was a non-smart mobile phone, a circuit board connected to a wire, several "18650" lithium batteries and some screws.
