A new day of mobilization and demonstrations against the pension reform is looming this Wednesday, January 29. On this occasion, public transport in the Ile-de-France region will experience disruptions, even if these will not be the size of December or early January, at the height of the strike.
However, some lines will be affected and several stations closed. The forecasts communicated by the RATP thus indicate that the traffic will be normal in the metro, except on lines 5, 6 and 8 where it will be necessary to count on 3 trains on 4 or 4 trains on 5. As for line 13, only 2 trainsets out of 3 will circulate.
RER and Transilien traffic disrupted
Several metro stations are also closed, at the request of the Paris police headquarters, from 2 p.m. These are Champs-Élysées-Clémenceau (lines 1 and 13), Varenne (13), Invalides (8 and 13) and Miromesnil (9 and 13). At these stations, trains do not stop and connections are not guaranteed.
On the RER side, the traffic on line B will also be disrupted. Count 4 out of 5 trains during rush hour, and 3 trains out of 4 during off-peak hours. On RER C, only 3 trains out of 4 will be in circulation. And 2 out of 3 trains on the RER D.
Finally, the SNCF anticipates an impact of the mobilization on the circulation of Transiliens. Line K will therefore be completely stopped, the Crépy-Mitry and Crépy-Roissy connections being provided by bus. 2 out of 3 trains will run on lines H and J, and 3 out of 4 trains on line N.
