The head of the forestry department in the directorate, Eng. Anas Abu Fakhr, said in a statement to SANA today that the afforestation process included planting various types of forests in the sites (Abd Mar, the lion's forest and the village) through the directorate's workers and the afforestation campaigns organized by the local community, that work be done to raise the density of planting in These sites during the coming period.

He pointed out that the Directorate continues to implement its plan to produce 400 thousand forest saplings for the current season to be ready for distribution during the next season with follow-up to the implementation of the artificial afforestation plan, as the cultivated areas have reached 600 dunums planted with more than 17 thousand saplings in the sites of Al-Quraya, Habran Forest, Al-Ain, Al-Kars, Dafin and Al-Harisa Road. .

The Department of Agriculture endosperm produced during the last season in the nurseries of Al-Ain and Namra Al-Harajeen 327 thousand implants.
