(CNN Spanish) - Up to ten political parties will have seats in the Congress of Peru, according to the quick count of América TV-Ipsos Peru.

The Popular Action political party, which won 10.1% of the votes, would be the largest bank, with 24 congressmen. Some of their representatives have expressed that they will maintain a dialogue with other powers of the State.

The electoral authorities will issue the official results in a few days. But if the trend marked by this count is maintained, there will be a clear dispersion of the vote.

The America TV-Ipsos Peru survey included the votes of 1,644 tables in 26 electoral districts, which represent 100% of the electoral population were counted by America TV and Ipsos. According to the companies, the margin of error is 1%.

The opposition Popular Force party, led by Keiko Fujimori, went from 54 seats to 12 and with that, he lost the majority he enjoyed during the presidential administration of Pedro Pablo Kuczynski.

With you, the political party of President Martín Vizcarra, did not obtain the necessary votes to win seats in Congress.

The parliamentary elections in Peru were held in an extraordinary way this Sunday, January 26 after Vizcarra dissolved the Congress in 2019 and called for new elections. The new Congress will complement the period that was dissolved by Vizcarra in 2019 and will exercise functions until 2021, when regular presidential and parliamentary elections are held. It will be the shortest legislative period in the country's history.

After the resignation of Pedro Pablo Kuczynski because of complaints about his relationship with the Odebrecht company, then Vice President Martin Vizcarra assumed the leadership of the State. But the Government's relationship with the opposition continued to be tense and the reforms promoted by the president, amid corruption scandals, were not supported by Parliament.

It was the constant confrontations between the Executive and the Legislative that, according to Vizcarra, led him to dissolve the Congress.
