75 years since the liberation of Auschwitz: President Rivlin will speak in Hebrew in the German parliament
After attending a ceremony in the extermination camp in Poland, Rivlin will deliver his speech at the Bundestag conference dedicated to the victims of Nazism, alongside the German President and the President of Parliament. After his remarks, MPs will stand still
President Reuben Rivlin will speak on Wednesday in the German parliament to mark International Holocaust Day and 75 years to the liberation of the Auschwitz camp.
Rivlin will speak in Hebrew at the Bundestag conference dedicated to the victims of Nazism, after being invited by German President Frank Walter Steinmeier and Bundestag President Wolfgang Schuibla, who will also speak. Following Rivlin's remarks, Parliament will stop for a minute to silence the victims.

The country's president arrived in Berlin after attending the ceremony in Auschwitz earlier this week. Along with Rivlin, more than 200 Holocaust survivors, Polish President Andrzej Duda, German President Frank Walter Steinmeier and French Prime Minister Edward Philip, prime ministers from around the world, most of whom were not included with World Leaders who attended Israel last week, attended the ceremony.
