A 22-year-old woman who reported her husband's mistreatment called the police line in Temuco, Chile to ask for help without him noticing. Although at first it seemed like a wrong call, the one who answered it noticed and sent help. The police arrived at the scene and arrested the husband who remains in pretrial detention while the incident is investigated. In conversation with Chilevisión, the woman said that it all started when her partner gave her "three blows to the head." The man pleaded not guilty.
