A Philadelphia police spokesman said the department did not identify the victim in this case; In general, it does not name victims for privacy reasons and for their protection. But an Iverson representative tweeted that the jewels stolen from the former basketball player had been safely returned.

"Allen thanks the Police Department and the people of Philadelphia for their support in this matter," said Moore Management and Entertainment's statement. Iverson retweeted it on his own account.
