The Prime Minister's Office makes it clear that despite the various reports published, the sovereignty decision will be put to the vote at the forthcoming government meeting, as the Prime Minister promised last night. "It's a matter of a few days," Netanyahu's office says. The cabinet meeting at which the sovereignty resolution is scheduled for Tuesday
Earlier today, a Likud official expressed his interest in revealing to "Israel Today" that the proposal to apply sovereignty would not be raised at the upcoming cabinet meeting scheduled for Sunday. According to the senior official, it will probably be impossible to finish all the preliminary work to submit the decision.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to land in Moscow tomorrow to update Russian President Vladimir Putin in details of the century plan launched last night in Washington, as Netanyahu updated Putin last week. The contacts between Israel and Russia continue, though there is no certainty that Naama Issachar will be released tomorrow and that there is no commitment from Moscow that Naama will return to Israel with Netanyahu tomorrow.
The next signature needed to finally release the Israeli young woman is President Vladimir Putin's. The amnesty committee approved Naama Issachar's request, after the Russian human rights commissioner also supported the request.
