Last updated: 2020-01-30 02:55At 11:00 pm yesterday (29th), a police assault vehicle reportedly approached the junction of Nathan Road and Nelson Street in Mong Kok and was suddenly thrown with three petrol bombs. One of the petrol bombs hit the rear of the assault vehicle, and two of them fell to the ground. No one was reportedly injured in the incident. A large number of riot police rushed to the scene to alert.
And at about 2 am today (30th), the Hung Hom Police Station on Princess Margaret Road in Ho Man Tin was reportedly attacked by petrol bombs. The fire had gone out when the fire arrived. Police followed up the case as "arson".
At 8 o'clock last night, the Kwai Chung Police Station was also bombarded with petrol bombs. It was reported that 3 people threw 3 petrol bombs at the brakes of the police station and fled afterwards. As seen in the online pictures, two fires appeared on the road across the road from the brakes at the scene. A section of Kwai Fu Road near the police station was closed for a period of time and was subsequently unsealed. No one was injured in the incident.
