Reports: Oil tanker catches fire on UAE coast
Editing: Asaf DruryUK Maritime Trade Services said on Wednesday that they had received reports of an oil tanker on fire off the UAE coast. The notice was sent in a warning message sent by email.
A spokesman for the Fifth U.S. Navy based in Bahrain said "we are aware of the incident" and are monitoring the situation.
Last year, several oil tankers were attacked in Gulf waters, and the United States blamed Iran. Tehran denied.
