A rocket was fired into the Gaza Strip toward Israeli territory and landed in an open area in the Gaza Strip, an IDF spokesman said Wednesday.
There were reportedly no injuries and no damage. A red color alarm sounded in several communities near the border. It was also reported that there was a big explosion. The IDF identified one launching at Israel's surface.
