A Likud official on Wednesday revealed to Israel Today that the proposal to apply for sovereignty will not be raised at the upcoming government meeting on Sunday. According to the senior official, it will probably be impossible to finish all the preliminary work to submit the decision.

It also stated in the party's statement that Attorney General Dr. Abihai Mandelblit needed to be given enough time to pass on the decision to apply for sovereignty and visa, and therefore it would take several more days for the decision to come to fruition.
