Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director general of the WHO, said on the same day that their biggest concern was that the virus could spread to countries with weak health systems and not cast a vote of no confidence in China.
The WHO earlier met again to discuss the new coronavirus epidemic situation in Wuhan, pointing out that the current situation of human-to-human transmission outside China is limited, and is concentrating on limiting further transmission in countries with imported cases. The main goal of WHO is to strengthen global diagnostic capabilities to improve surveillance and early detection and tracking of virus transmission.
