EgyptAir announced the suspension of its flights to and from Chinese cities from the beginning of next month until further notice.
And the Egyptian media quoted the company as saying in a statement that this decision comes "to confront the Corona virus, which appeared in the country of China and spread in more than one country and to preserve the safety and health of its customers traveling on these flights and members of the crew."
The company confirmed that the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation is following up in coordination with the Egyptian Integrated Aviation Operations Center and the concerned authorities, the situation developments to take a decision to resume flights.
Several international airlines suspended their flights to China in anticipation of the spread of the Coruna virus.
