Heavy floods leave at least 50 dead 0:41
(CNN Spanish) - President Jair Bolsonaro announced that he will release US $ 208 million from federal resources for the reconstruction of infrastructure in cities affected by heavy rains that plague some regions of the country since recent days, such as the states of Minas Gerais, Espiritu Santo and in Rio de Janeiro.
The Brazilian president made an overflight on Thursday in Belo Horizonte, one of the most affected areas. Bolsonaro at a press conference said "we are working shoulder to shoulder to try to mitigate the problems that have occurred with this catastrophe."

In addition to economic resources, the Ministry of Health has distributed more than two tons of medicines to the most affected regions.
According to the Civil Defense of Brazil, 55 people have died and around 30,000 are homeless.
