Britain will officially remove its EU membership at 11 pm local time on January 31 (7 am Hong Kong time on February 1, Hong Kong time), marking the end of the three-year, seven-month and 10-day Brexit process. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson issued a video speech an hour before Brexit, referring to Brexit as a reproduction of Britain's "independence of thought and action". With the countdown clock projected on Prime Minister's House on Downing Street, Britain's 47-year EU member state career is about to end. Johnson said in a video speech that Brexit "is not an end but a beginning, and Britain will usher in a better future."

A large number of supporters gathered at Parliament Square, waving the British flag, ready to count down for Brexit. At 11:00 local time, the big bell rang, Britain officially left the European Union, a large number of people cheered and waved the British flag, and sang the British national anthem. Buildings near the Whitehall in Britain are also lit. Following Brexit, the American flag outside the European Parliament was also lowered and replaced with the European Union flag. After that, the UK will enter a transition period of 11 months, and the entire Brexit process will not be completed until the relevant agreement is processed.
