The death toll from coronavirus infection in China today has risen to 213.
"The number of confirmed infections in China has reached 9,692, that there are 1527 people with a critical condition, and there are suspicions that 15,538 people are infected with the virus," the Xinhua news agency quoted the National Health Authority of China as saying in a statement.
The statement indicated that 171 people recovered from the disease as they were discharged from hospitals.
A previous statistic had reported the death of 170 people affected by HIV infection.
To this, the Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed that Beijing is able to contain and eliminate the Corona virus.
"After the outbreak of the new Coruna virus, the Chinese government has taken strict and comprehensive measures to prevent and control the epidemic," ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said at a press conference today.
For its part, announced that many provinces and municipalities of China recover more patients infected with the virus and leave the hospitals.
