British Foreign Minister Dominique Rab expressed concern over Israeli annexation in Judea and Samaria, saying that unilateral measures could hamper the peace process.

"The United Kingdom is concerned about reports of possible measures to annex parts of the West Bank by Israel," Rab wrote in an official statement.

"Any such unilateral measures could undermine renewed efforts to renegotiate peace negotiations and violate international law. Any such changes to the status quo cannot be made without an agreement negotiated and given by the parties involved," Rab added.

Earlier this week, the United Kingdom reacted positively to the publication of the Trump Century Plan, claiming it was a positive step. Prime Minister Boris Johnson's spokesman said: "The leaders have discussed the US proposal for peace between Israelis and Palestinians, which could be a positive step on the road to progress."
