Since Wednesday there is no news of an Italian boy, Mattia Fiaschini of 24 years old, from Cesenatico, who is missing in Australia in the Blue Mountains, a mountain range west of Sydney. Fiaschini has lived and worked in Sydney for a year, as a barman and waiter, and is considered an expert in excursions with important international climbs behind him. The young man is resident in Cesenatico, where his family lives. According to Australian police, the boy started a journey alone to reach the Blue Mountains last Wednesday and since then his news is unknown. The alarm went off when he didn't show up for work on Thursday. Searches have been running for a few days. In the area where it is presumed to have been lost there is no cellular reception. The father will leave tomorrow for Sydney to follow the searches closely.
