The Syrian Al-Yamamah Charitable Society, in cooperation with the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Hasaka, targeted 6 thousand families in the southern countryside of Hasaka governorate with health materials and aid provided by the United Nations Population Fund.
Association President Saeed Al-Khader said in a statement to a SANA reporter that “the association targeted villages located on the eastern axis of the southern countryside, because these areas were not covered by distribution previously and suffered from the presence of terrorist organizations during the last period,” noting that “the targeted villages are Al-Bureij, Al-Taha, Al-Susah, Wadi Al-Raml, Al-Hibba and Umm Fractures, Al-Mastoura, Al-Saadiya, Al-Muhfaif, Saiha Al-Aboud, Al-Talalat, Taqqa, Al-Mudash, and Hadaj. ”
The people of the region called for increasing the support provided and their momentum for relief and humanitarian assistance, especially that the region was not targeted by the distributions that are carried out by other international organizations, noting the need for the health teams of the associations and organizations to be in the region and implementing awareness sessions on reproductive health, disease prevention and education for women in the region that It suffered greatly during the existence of terrorist groups.
The Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch had targeted more than 7,000 families with relief assistance in villages south of the city of Shaddadi, Hasaka.
