Datteln / NRW - Environmental activists broke into the Datteln coal-fired power plant on Sunday in protest against the government's coal phase-out law. According to the police, around 120 people came into the area and broke an access gate for it. The activists described the new coal-fired power plant Datteln 4 , which has not yet been connected to the grid, as "the final coffin nail for climate justice ". The operator wanted to reserve legal action due to trespassing.
