The security system is the secret card in Israel's space exploration, placing us in the forefront of the world • Interpretation

Officially, Israel's investments in space research and development appear to lag behind investments in the world. The OECD countries spend an average of 2.5% of their product on R&D, the US invests 3.9% and Israel 0.7%.
China has been increasing its investments in the field over the past decade, with a determination to outperform US investments. Officially, Israel is investing NIS 2.8 billion a year in the field, and although that is quite a bit of money, it is worth adding "only" because, as stated, it is not much. The data was published by the Central Bureau of Statistics on the occasion of Space Week.
But Israel has the ability to launch satellites, and commercially it is represented in space twice its size. The answer to this mystery is true of the high-tech field in general, which Israel apparently manages to achieve in itself, despite a relatively large civilian investment.
The answer, of course, is the security system. In fact, as in the countries of the world, the air forces aim at the sky and do not stop in the atmosphere. Space exploration is important and bears fruit in all areas of our lives. Many of the developments designed to provide solutions to the unique conditions in space, including communications, energy, and materials research, even serve us as bikes from unique metals developed for the same purposes. The leaders in the field give Israel a place of honor in the world and make us strategic partners of major and important countries, such as Italy.
