Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that the so-called "deal of the century" is inconsistent with the UN Security Council resolutions related to the Palestinian issue.
"Today there is a series of UN Security Council resolutions, and it can be clearly noted that the (deal of the century) is incompatible with them," Piskov said today, adding that the Palestinians' rejection of the deal makes it "not viable."
Moscow had confirmed that Washington had not consulted with it on the announcement of the "Deal of the Century" in its entirety and detail, and that its position was consistent and unchanged on the necessity of establishing an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders.
Since the announcement by US President Donald Trump of a blatant bias of the occupation entity and a violation of international legitimacy resolutions last Tuesday, the terms of the so-called "deal of the century", the cities and towns of the West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip have witnessed mass popular demonstrations, rejecting the ill-fated deal and an affirmation of the continuation of the struggle until it was toppled and all conspiracies aimed at undermining Rights of the Palestinian people.
