About a month ago, a police complaint was received on suspicion of sexual offenses he had assisted from the center area with a student from the school he taught. The investigation shows that the acts were committed for three years since the student was 9. Recently, the student told his parents about the acts and they contacted the police.
On Jan. 9, police arrested 23-year-old Daniel Kormian and he was taken for questioning at the police station. The suspect's arrest has been extended from time to time in Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court. At a recent hearing Thursday, it was decided to extend the suspect's arrest by 5 days, until tomorrow - Monday. As stated, in the hearing, which took place on Thursday, a prosecutor's statement regarding the intent of the prosecution was filed against the suspect. In addition, an arrest application was filed pending the completion of legal proceedings against him.
