"In World War II, six million human souls were destroyed," says Sharif in the video, "simply because they were Jews." This is how he opens his report on the rare visit by a Muslim delegation to the Auschwitz extermination camp in January 2020.

Sharif describes in the video how the secretary-general of the Muslim League, Sheikh Muhammad al-Issa, led a delegation with representatives from 27 countries to visit the Auschwitz camp in Poland.

Sheikh Muhammad said during the visit that "Muslim values are not double". Through this visit, says the Bahraini teacher, he expressed his awareness of the horrors of the Holocaust.

This is a senior Saudi cleric who was previously appointed Minister of Justice. He has served as Secretary General of the World Muslim League since 2016. He is considered a key figure in the fight against radical Islam and one of the moderate voices in the Arab world.
