Today, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed with Austrian Ambassador to Russia Johan Aigner the situation in Syria, Libya and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Sputnik agency quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement that during the meeting, a comprehensive exchange of views took place on pressing Middle East issues, focusing on the situation in Syria and Libya, as well as prospects for resolving the Palestinian issue, including in the context of Washington's declaration of the so-called "deal of the century" .
And US President Donald Trump recently announced, in a blatant violation of international resolutions, the provisions of the so-called "deal of the century" that allows the Zionist occupation entity to annex more occupied lands in preparation for the liquidation of the Palestinian issue, which sparked widespread Palestinian rejection.
