Outbreak of the Corona virus: The Chinese foreign ministry launched a fierce attack on Monday, saying the world was exaggerating its response to the crisis. At a press conference, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman attacked the United States, saying: "They don't help with the virus, only panic."

The number of people infected with the deadly virus has risen to over 17,000 people. The official quorum is 361, with one death occurring in the Philippines and the rest in China.

China's authorities have reported 2429 new cases of virus infection in the past 24 hours, some slowing down the rate of infection in recent days. Meanwhile, several new cases of avian influenza have been reported in the country.

Meanwhile, authorities in China this morning reported that a new hospital was opened in Wuhan city, the site of the outbreak of the virus, with 1,000 beds intended for patients with the virus alone. The new hospital will be manned by hundreds of doctors and paramedics and volunteers who came to the city from all over China

Construction of the hospital took less than ten days. It has also been reported that another hospital, which will be built in and to a nearby site, and will contain 1,500 beds, is expected to open in the coming days.

China's stock trading resumed this morning, following a week in which it was canceled due to Chinese New Year. Stock prices plunged on the Shanghai Stock Exchange as well as the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, which fell by 9 percent.

Yesterday it was learned that the Chinese government had injected $ 173 billion into the domestic economy, a huge sum designed to allow the country's various institutions to cope with the crisis caused by the Corona virus.
