Worldwide restaurant chain KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) opened its first restaurant gates in Israel this morning. The first of the more than ten branches expected to open, including the flagship branch in Tel Aviv, opened in Nazareth, to which a number of curious, photographers and fried chicken enthusiasts flocked this morning to celebrate the return of the chain to Israel.

Remember, this is not the first fire baptism in the network in Israel, but previous attempts have failed, and now the network, in another franchise, is returning to Israel in broad deployment. One of the reasons the chain did not succeed in Israel in the past was certain ingredients in the original recipe that were modified to suit the local market, but now, in the new branch and those to be established soon, the flagship and the recipe itself will be exactly the same as the mythological American dishes.

Surely you won't be surprised to hear that all the dishes in the restaurant are chicken-based, and here, as in the rest of the world, there is an extensive supply of dishes to suit everyone, from the mythological act that includes coated chicken pieces to a large bucket suitable for distribution, or one very hungry person, through chicken nuggets or Spicy wings, and up to Chicken Burger, raffles and chicken fillets. This, of course, alongside extras such as fries and salads.

"After two years of learning the Israeli market, conversations with partners, suppliers and field trips, we are proud to bring our amazing dishes to Israel," said KFC Israel CEO Omar Zeidner. "Many Israelis have been waiting a long time for the return of the network with the original recipe."
Speaking about Nazareth, Seidner said: "This is a vibrant city full of Israelis and tourists from all over the world, which makes it, for us, a favorite. Soon our flagship branch and other branches will open in Tel Aviv too."

The KFC chain is one of the oldest food chains in the United States. All the dishes are based on fried poultry on a special night and a secret seasoning according to an old Colonel Herland Sanders recipe that created the recipe over seven decades ago. The network emphasizes freshness and the birds are not pre-coated at night but close to frying. The chain has over 23,000 restaurants in more than 141 countries around the world.
