Kushner: If the Palestinians do not meet the conditions, they need not be recognized as a state
In light of Abu Mazen's rejection of the US government's peace plan, President Trump's senior adviser and son-in-law told CNN in an interview that Israel should not "take the risk" of recognizing the Palestinian state as a state if Ramallah is unable to meet the plan's conditions. "The most dangerous thing is a failed state"

Photo: Reuters, edited by Asaf Drury and Shaul AdamJared Kushner, the son-in-law and senior adviser to US President Donald Trump, told CNN on Sunday that if Palestinians do not fulfill the conditions required by the US government's peace plan, Israel should not recognize them as a state.
"If the Palestinians want to live a normal and normal life, we now have a framework within which to do this," Kushner said. "If the Palestinians do not think they can meet these conditions, I think we cannot bring Israel to take the risk and recognize them as a state."
According to Kushner, the Palestinian Authority today is "a police state. Not exactly a prosperous democracy." He stressed that the only thing more dangerous than what we have today in the Palestinian Authority, "is a failed state."

Kushner's remarks come after Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas' rejection of the century deal, and on Saturday at the Arab League Conference in Cairo announced the severing of ties with Israel and the United States and continued to attack the bible again.
