Damascus Governorate has started rehabilitation and beautification works on the fair road in the Mazzeh area, starting from Al-Mowasat Roundabout through Sheikh Saad to the Syrian Telecom Company, with a distance of about three kilometers.

The director of parks in the Damascus governorate, Engineer Mahmoud Murtada Bain, in a statement to the delegate of Sanaa, said that the work of beautification and rehabilitation of the fair includes the removal of iron and metal tape, the cultivation of the carp plant within the agricultural ponds, the extension of a modern irrigation network, and an increase in the number of pedestrian paths to preserve these ponds.

Murtada explained that the directorate continues to beautify the fair in the Mazzeh Highway by increasing the cultivation of the barberry plant after the unification of the iron fence and the pruning of palm trees in addition to the rehabilitation and beautification of the fair road in Faris Khoury Street, stressing that the rehabilitation of the fair and beautify it comes within the preservation plan to give the aesthetic appearance and increase the green areas in the city .
